You have 30 days from being enrolled into the scheme in which you may opt-out. If you do so, any contributions that have been deducted via payroll will be returned to you.
If you are within that period and do wish to opt-out, please follow these steps:
- Navigate to “MY PENSION” from the main left hand menu of the member portal.
- Select the “OPT-OUT” tab from the horizontal page menu. This will open the opt-out form, which has been pre-filled with your details.
- Please read through the form. If you do want to opt-out, select the 2 check boxes and click on “CONFIRM AND OPT-OUT”. This will send automatic notification to the scheme advisers and to your employer. You will receive a confirmation email with a copy of the opt-out certificate.
Under auto-enrolment regulations, your employer may be required to re-enrol you into the scheme in future. If this happens and you still don’t want to take part, you will need to opt-out again at that time.
If you can not see the opt out option, please speak with your employer to check your enrolment date and ask them to email gsipp@digitalwealthsystems.co.uk with the details.
